Leaf Guide Taiwan is editorially independent. We now sell clearly labelled digital products and venue services, and may also earn referral commissions in the future. None of those relationships affect what we recommend.

Our firm rules
No paid rankings
We never sell rankings or directory position. No venue can pay to rank higher, appear first, or be featured.
No paid awards
Leaf Awards are editorial. They cannot be bought, sponsored, or influenced by any commercial relationship.
No paid endorsements
We don't publish fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or endorsements in exchange for payment.
Source-backed facts
Venue facts stay source-backed. A commercial relationship never lets a venue change how it's described.
Ways we make or may make money
Paid Leaf Guide products
We sell optional products such as the Taiwan Tea Trip Pack. The current Founding Edition is offered as a clearly described pre-order. The free Starter Guide stays free to read and download, and buying a product never changes any venue’s ranking or editorial placement.
Managed website services for tea businesses
Leaf Guide Sites sells Traditional Chinese and English website setup and monthly managed service for Taiwanese tea houses and tea merchants. The service has a published scope, setup deposit, monthly price, and live Stripe checkout on the website-service page. Buying that service gives a venue no better ranking, no award, and no editorial advantage.
Referral and affiliate links
Some future outbound links may be referral or affiliate links, where we could earn a commission or fee if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. We disclose these wherever they appear, and they never influence ranking, Leaf Awards, or which venues we cover.
Payments and purchase terms
Leaf Guide checkout is hosted by Stripe and processed through ONEPARK DIGITAL. Prices, pre-order delivery, deposits, subscription handling, and refund conditions are set out in the purchase terms before payment.
What stays independent
Rankings, Leaf Awards, reviews, and editorial selection are not for sale. We don’t invent partners we don’t have, and we don’t claim endorsements we didn’t earn. If we cannot verify a venue fact, we say so rather than guess.
