Leaf Guide Taiwan is a pre-launch project, and “Leaf Guide Taiwan” is a working name. This is a plain-language, honest summary of how the site handles information today. It is not a complete legal agreement, and it will be expanded into a fuller policy before public launch.

About Leaf Guide Taiwan

Leaf Guide Taiwan is an independent editorial guide to Taiwanese tea culture — tea houses, mountain tea routes, and tea education. Most of the site is simply content you can read without giving us any information at all.

Information that may be collected

The features below may collect information when and if they are enabled:

• Newsletter email. If you sign up for the Taiwan Tea Starter Guide or a dispatch, the email address you provide is stored so it can be sent to you. You would be able to unsubscribe at any time.
• Quiz answers. The tea discovery quiz runs in your browser to generate recommendations. If a session is recorded, only your answer choices and an anonymous session identifier are stored — never your name.
• Venue submissions. If you submit a tea house, the details you send (such as the venue name, location, and the email you enter on the form) are kept so editors can review it.

Analytics & measurement

Aggregate analytics may be used to understand which pages are useful and how the site performs, to improve the guide — not to build advertising profiles of individuals. We do not intentionally include your newsletter email address, search text, or free-text submissions in these analytics events.

Third-party services

Some functionality may rely on third-party providers (for example, email delivery and hosting/measurement infrastructure). The specific providers and their terms will be finalized and listed here before launch. Information is not sold.

Payments

There is no payment processing on this site. No checkout, paid listing, membership, or payment provider (including LINE Pay) is active.
